If you don't have the opportunity to go to England or to the USA to learn English, Denmark is another option to learn English because the Danes speak it very well. I remembered a student coming from Canada said that she has chosen Denmark because it's where people speak well English in Europe, apart UK. The Danes speak it fluently and without any Danish accent and television programmes are always in an original version(mostly in English) and subtitled.

Personal spending habits
I spent more than at home because Denmark is a more expensive country than Spain. Its standard of living is higher, so everything cost me more than in Spain.

It was quite good because every studented lived in a single room with it's own private toilet and the campus was close to the University and the down town.

because the life standard is higher in Denmark than in Belgium, so prices are higher, except for the telephone bill.
