I traveled a lot before, during and after my study abroad. Boston is close to a lot of great places (ie Montreal or New York for the weekend), so I would encourage people to get out and about.

Final comments
Traveling from Boston is easy, you can reach New York City by bus in around 4 hours and you can get good deals on domestic flights if you book in advance; you should really take advantage of this opportunity while you're there.

New York is not far away. The entire east-coast is worth seeing it. beautiful places and def. the best culture in the US. new england is very european

the time i spent there was great. the whole area is very nice and traveling is not too expensive if you go by bus
