Valoración global
Si lo hubiera sabido...
That international students are not allowed to be paid if they do an internship off-campus unless they have been in the country for a whole academic year before.

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: with 5 others student girls
Organizado por: Universidad de intercambio
Si volviera, eligiría: Free room for services
¿Por qué?
Save money, rental are very expensives in Boston. As when sharing with romates, you are not alone and can have the support from someone knowing the city.

On campus housing is only for ndergrad.
Off campus is expensive and can be far away from Boston College (in Brighton), which is annoying because the Tramway line doesn't go every where so you need a car.

2) Cape Cod should be visited : 1 hour South Boston... dream beaches, bodyboard, wild woods, lovely arts villages...

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: En el campus
Organizado por: Independientemente - por elección propia
Si volviera, eligiría: Piso o apartamento
¿Por qué?
I'd rather live in an apartment/house because:
1.- Considering rent, food and utilities, the final living cost for an apartment is lower than on Campus.
2.- No need of sharing the room with your roommate and restrooms with the rest of the students living in the same floor.
3.- More flexibility and quality regarding meals. Living on campus implies eating the food the cafeteria/Dining hall offers and at the scheduled time.
4.- Dorms are usually noisy spaces because there are too many students, with different schedules and different objectives. Therefore, it's difficult to have the appropriate environment for effective study.

Costumbres personales de gasto
At home I lived with my parents at that time, therefore, all the expenses related to living costs increased. Food and accomodation are more expensive in the U.S. than in Spain. Telephone expenses also increased haivng to call to Spain. nightlife is really up to your spare time and your personal choice. I summary living abroad resulted more expensive than living at home for me.

I already knew before going to Boston that it was one of the most expensive cities in the U.S. You can save more money if you choose not living on Campus because you decide how much you spend in almost everything.
