Avis sur California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM)

Cal State San Marcos (CSUSM) is a great school for individuals wanting a small campus with small classrooms. Each professor knows you by name here-- something that is often hard to find at other Cal States. 

Located just thirty minutes outside the city limits of San Diego and just a ten minute drive to the beach you couldn't find a better location! 

The college has apartment style dorms which is great if you're coming from not sharing a room. You can either share a room and bathroom with one other person or have your own room and share just the bathroom.  There are not meal plans or cafeterias at the school so you'll have to learn to cook your own food. 

I do not know much about the study abroad program here-- the only thing I know of (and that gets a lot of grief from students) is that you are required to crash your classes and cannot enroll ahead of time. This means you must show up to the class on the first day of school and ask a professor for a permission code to join the class.
