CAU offers a wide variety of courses and has great facilities to offer. Academically courses are very intense and require undivided attention especially for economic and finance guys.
But to lessen the work load sportzentrum offers a huge variety of sports on very student friendly prices.

The student life at the CAU is relaxed and Kiel is a nice city with a lot of young students. The courses are different, some are more difficult than others, depends on the prof. In general I would recommend living and studying in Kiel because the proximity to the sea is wonderful and the people are friendly.

Not all courses I took were helpful, specially the German as a foreign language, plus of them were very basic for a Master degree, but overall the studies were good. The teachers are very helpfull and open for collaborations if you reach out to them.
