Personal comments
I lived at the Emdrupborgkollegiet in Copenhagen. This is a dorm in the outskirts io Copenhagen, about half an hour to the university. It is normally in a very quiet area, but the time I spent there was horrible, because there was a construction area not only directly outside the house but also IN the house (that means: pneumatic hammer at 7 o'clock a.m. in the cellar).
The cost is - compared to other locations - quite low, but compared to other cities around the world quite expensive. The rooms are not too large (let's say: small) and the equipment is 1960's. A bis plus is the fact that there's a seperate floor only for exchange students.

I really liked the bars at the uni, Nexus on thursday at Solbjerg Plads and on friday La Cable at Dalgas Havn. In the city I loved LA Bar, it's crappy but cheap and you can find all the exchange students there at wednesday. I also liked Club Sevilla on thursdays (free entrance for girls). Park was also very nice, but expensive. And if you like Cocktails then Barcelona in Norreport is really nice.

Housing was fine, only deposit had to be paid without ever reimbursing the inhabitants afterwards
