Be careful when you choose the courses: some 10 credit courses are really worth 5 in terms of work and others of 5 may be 10 ou 20 credits in terms of work.

The liberty given with the reports that you do along the semester and no exam, goes with the responsability of your work and discipline. But I liked it.

coming from mechanical engineering school, i choose very interesting course abouit management, environment and international cooperation!

the only thing i regret is that some teachers couldn't make you interested in their lectures... but that's a comments i could do everywhere i think...

Do not choose course Data Communications with Hani Kamel. It is better to read the book youreslf becouse the theacher is giving lectures using only one book.

Giving topics of final projects earlier not three weeks before the end since then you have less time for several courses.

Because my home university was just for "undergraduates" while DTU only had a combined undergraduate/graduate program, I made a mistake in choosing some of my classes because I ended up taking courses that were WAY beyond my level but it really could not have been avoided; the set-up up highschool vs. Danish gymnasium and then university is quite different in the two schools/nations.

Make sure you don't goof off during the semester since there's only ONE exam (for most classes) at the end of the course...

While following a course and forming 'scientific groups', a teacher should suggest being in a group composed of students from different countries. This improves interpersonal skills and enables looking at certain issues from a different point of view, which in turn may enhance creativity and our knowledge about different cultures. I believe that in the future international work will come into play, so the ability of working in an internatonal group will become a very important skill

There should be more copies of courses textbooks in the library for consulting, as they were so expensive to buy for an international student.

More frequent public transport from university to Copenhagen at nights on weekdays.
