Overall
I am in my third year of Journalism and Creative Writing, and I am really disappointed. During the three years, I have only had two tutors who actually cared about their students and were happy to help whenever. During COVID there was no help from the university, moreover, it seems like they made everything harder for their students.

The student Union is happening on any night,besides there are plently of pubs bars and restaurants to keep you occupied at a different place every day for a month !

avoid they union unless you want to get drunk and covered in vomit. its a place of cheap drink, cheap women and average music. for sports, check out the aikedo scene as dmu has a really social club connected to one of the oldest permanent dojos in britain.
