Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?

I stayed at William Rowlett Halls of Residence. They seemed to be quite new but they have been demolished which I learnt from a quick search on Youtube. Living in halls was generally a good experience and as stated before the preferred option if you are only here for a short period. My halls were located very close to the city centre and various uni buildings (Fletcher, Queens) and next to the Student Union which was very convenient.

I would live on campus again, because as a first year student, I find it is the easiest way to meet other students, and to know people other than students from your course. It is also a very interesting experience on a personal point of view, as you do not choose who you live with.

My housing in University was in a new hall. We were ten girls sharing a kitchen and two bathroom. We had a very big and clean kitchen, and small rooms, with only the necessary furniture but it was more than sufficiente. My halls were located between the city center and the University, so it had an ideal situation.

You are with freshers on campus. So it is very noisy due to the fact there are very young. Furthermore, it was not very clean.i would recommend to live in an apartment with others students.
