ireland is expensive but can be also fine, (while in summer). local athorities do not know their own laws, always be aware of mistreatment and thiefs. dublin is not hat harmless than it seems. while using your own car, keep it save and in guarded spaces. irish people are generally friendly.

travel with Ryanair to and from Ireland when you can (e.g. when travelling between France and Dublin) as it is the cheapest

Bring a good/expensive umbrella it will worth it! Learn how too cook at least something you really like. It is always better than you expect.
