Applied economics BA/BSc
Anzhelika Y
Hungary, Undergraduate
Economics, 2021
Overall
The teachers are understanding and there are a lot of ways to improve your marks and improve yourself. While students have a lot of pressure and tons of various subjects. But the program itself provides valid economic basis and software skills. I would say all the professors are nice and the faculty is nice. So,every student can expect constant support.

Insights about ELTE
Rahil N
Hungary, Graduate
, 2022
Overall
My study at ELTE has been an interesting experience for me. Though this exceptional year has brought with it many difficulties like the travel restrictions and inability to attend classes in person, I have been able o reach Hungary and settle down in Budapest. The online experience itself is frustrating but not at ELTE since we can attend all our lectures on MS teams and the professors help us experience the lecture as if we are in a real classroom. One of the most enjoyable things is Learning Hungarian Language and Culture. With our very friendly tutors, we managed to have a good knowledge of one of the most difficult languages in Europe.

Pros
Great learning atmosphere with all its details from the support we got in developing ourselves academically and professionally to the friendly meetings with our classmates and lecturers.
Cons
The slight disappointment that we had this year of the complete online learning since we were hoping that some course might take place at the faculty

Overall
The study schedule for Master students is really flexible, it is developed like that in order to make it possible for Master students to work while studying. The teachers are helpful, lectures are recorded, so it is possible to re-watch them and gain a deeper understanding of the material.

It is good to have at least one contact person in the host city. Be careful when renting a flat!
