In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
The way of teaching is quite varied and it made a welcome change from being graded solely on exam results. Integration on foreign students is very important here and they really made us feel welcome.

It is very expense to fly into Strasbourg airport. Ryanair fly to Baden Baden which is quite close. Paris is four hours away by train.
Take the boat tour on your first day to see the whole city.

The social life can be very nice when you're open enough to approach the FRench students. The academic life can be a little disappointing because of its low level.

I am aware of the fact that staying with other int. students is a lot easier than mingle with the FRench. Nevertheless it is absolutely indispensable to get some contacts with the local (students), othwerwise you stay is only a long language holiday... If you are really interested in the French culture, language, behaviour and nation, don't stay outside...
You should know that right at the beginning of the year there are 150 new young students how are looking for friends, try to meet them for example at the WE-d'Intégration. The students fro thrid year just came back from their studies abroad (compulsory at IECS) and they know how hard it is to get to know FRench students - you can meet them, too! The students from 2nd year might be interested in your hime university, because maybe they want to go there next year and would like to have a friend alreayd - they are mostly open to meet you , too!!!
A perfect occasion for having fun WITH THE FRENCH are the social events (despite soirées..) and travels like "Semaine au Ski" or "Amsterdam". in my opinion you should go there!
All the best!

Try and arrange accommodation before reaching Strasbourg - and make sure you have all the documents need! (seek advice from your University).

Strasbourg is a quite expensive city. I didn't choose Paris because I thought it was too expensive...but then I realised Strasbourg was the second most-expensive! Look for a flat and share it with another students. I don't recommend University residences.

“Une école tournée vers l'étranger”

Overall

“Double degree exchange in the capital of Europe”

Overall
The courses at the school vary a lot, from different fields. With my broad range of courses, it feels like I get prepared for many challenges in my future work.
The teachers are competent and easy to talk to. The encourage discussions and disagreements to learn us students to reflect critically.
The campus has had a lot of construction work and is for the moment quite dusty and empty. Some of the classrooms are rather small and the chairs are not so comfortable.

Broad range of courses, good teachers, beautiful building on the outside, cheap lunches at Unistra
Cons
Campus far away from center, toilets are dirty
