wished it had lasted a little longer as classes only took place from April to June. Would have prefered to start in January

ESADE is considered as one of the best Management schools. Classes tought mix theory and real case exercises which was different from my university. Languages classes provided are of good quality. Access to library, computers etc is available and of good quality

I chose to live close to the university so as to avoid the morning city rush to go to class. I shared a flat with two native spanish which really helped to improve my spanish. The place was however sometimes empty so you should think of how many people you wish to be around. Access to any place in the city is easy and cheap so going out is not a problem (cabs are also available). Barcelona is a great city to live in but also to visit. I think I still haven't seen everything. I can only encourage people to go there as long as possible. Try to meet spanish native as much as possible as you will often be tempted to speak an other language with other students from abroad.

The campus itself is not the largest, but all students course business, law or politic-related studies. Thus, you are guaranteed to come out of the school with an amazing network of like-minded peers. I had to remove one star for how clunky and slow their internal system is, there is much to be improved in that area.

A favor

They have a mandatory study abroad program with really good partner universities to choose from in many countries of the world.

There is a severe lack of fluency in the communication between students and internal affairs.

I wish I knew more about local accommodation and also I wish I had more information about the new campus in Sant Cugat.

I would definitely recommend this university to other students! Academically, culturally, and socially it was a fantastic experience. Aside from some organizational issues (i.e. the new campus), everything turned out better than I had expected.

The most important thing is to come with an open mind and the readiness to learn and experience a new culture and a way of life. Don't travel too much and leave time to actually see Barcelona because it is an amazing city. Have fun, but don't get carried away with partying ;)

Cuando estudie el DIN en ESADE, creo fue la mejor etapa de mi vida, ya que los profesores te aportaban la praxis del derecho, y eso es muy valioso en estos días. Noté el plus de inmediato, por eso me siento muy orgullosa de haber estudiado en ESADE el diplomado en Negocios Internacionales, y después master part time. Gracias ESADE por tanto.

A favor

Todo, en especial el claustro académico.

En contra

Creo que debería haber más tratamiento personalizado a los estudiantes, sobre todo a los extranjeros o nacionales que no viven en España.

It's the best MBA school in spain and the spanish speaking world. So if you want to sharpen your spanish and learn something at the same time, go there! And now I haven't told about all the new friends you'll get...

You have to choose 4-5 courses from a list of about 25 and half of them conflict so your options are very limited. Most teachers love to interact with international students, but a few can be hard to contact and unhelpful. Local students prefer to interact with other local students for the most part, therefore the international students interact with other international students. All of the international students are extremely friendly and very open to making as many friends as possible while studying there.

I thought the grading was unfair in two of my five classes. When I tried to contact the teachers for the grades that I received they were hard to get in touch with and didn't explain their grading procedures sufficiently. I was disappointed by the amount of subjective grading in those two classes, but the other three seemed reasonably fair.
