I spent more money on rent in France as I was living in the city centre therefore it was more expensive. the nightlife in france was alot cheaper than in the UK as we did not have to pay for entry into clubs.

“The Business School with recognized international programs”
Matthieu G
France, Graduate
Marketing and Sales Management, 2024
Overall
Just concluding my Bachelor (L3), I am now starting a gap year from July to December 2021, that is included is my Master's program.
Indeed, SKEMA allows its students to create their own path through the School. Therefore, I chose to begin my L3 with many courses around marketing, international business and project management.
In January 2022, I will pursue my cursus in the US campus of SKEMA (Raleigh, North Carolina) to develop my English skills and to discover news ways of thinking and doing.

Housing, primarily, is ridiculous... high prices for few commodities (consider yourself lucky if you have things like a stove, refridgerator, oven, etc.), and everyday living expenses such as clothing, food, and telephone are so much higher than in Sweden, where my home is.

Beware the EDF (electricity) bill! They estimate your consummation every time they bill you, so you usually get money back at the end of the year even though the sum you have to pay might seem extraordinnary at the time. Find the closest LIDL in your area, learn to love it and make it your best friend. While not as glamorous nor with a very extensive product range, you will save incredible amounts of money on your weekly food expenses (a 3 euro lasagne is big enough to feed one person for 2 days. i rest my case!)
