Personal spending habits
The food is paid for in part by the school. The housing is too by the govt. The nightlife is the same (as in Montreal). For traveling, it's the same as well.

The courses were in French, I am French and speak it (mother tongue), therefore, no problems at all. My exchange was not to better my French.
