I'd recommend to have a bike (very useful to go to the centre) or a car (very useful to travel and do the shopping) and I'd also recommend strong to meet a sport team to meet wonderful people.

If you stay a year, be on campus. That's where you'll meet the most people. Also, don't get sucked in the work: GO OUT! Meet other people (from Erasmus)!

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
More room, better food, more privacy when you need it.

Personal comments
Too small, but VERY cheap (85 euros/month with help from govt). 2 min walk from classes (VGood!). Everything you need in the residence bldg. HOWEVER, no cooking facilities (really disappointing!!). Great people to meet!

In my opinion, there should be a shared kitchen for students, just as a living room with some space in order to meet other students.

Academic
Course recommendations
Remember to choose ALL your courses BEFORE you leave your home uni. Also, be ABSOLUTELY SURE you have approval for all your courses, especially, the credits that are going to be granted to you (especially if it's your last semester, like me). Try not to get any surprizes once you arrive. Sort the most BEFORE leaving.

Personal comments
Be sure your profs know who you are and know your status. Some profs are real a$$holes and don't care if you've had your previous education in another language. Some profs are really not understanding and don't do any effort to support you. That's really annoying.
