In a country where I dont speak the native language, I do not have many options. And it is helpful to live at a place where most international students live.

Firstly, this is not university accomodation. It is an independent, autonomous organisation called CROUS which runs them.
I feel, if the staff was speaking an international language (at least the upper rung) given the large no. of international students, it would help a lot.

OverallL'organisation des cours est très bonne puisque elle correspond aux 2 types de profils qui arrivent en école d'ingénieur après 2 ans de prépa.
Pour ceux qui savent déjà ce qu'il veulent faire, la panoplie de cours est suffisamment large pour que son désir soit réalisé.
Pour ceux qui ne savent pas encore, la 1e année te permet de découvrir différents aspects de l'ingénierie pour t'aider à faire ton choix pour la 2e année.
Les opportunités professionnelles sont excellentes car l'école est très reconnue. En revanche les partenariats à l'étranger sont plus faibles que dans d'autres écoles plus grandes ou plus réputées.
Pour finir, la vie étudiante est absolument géniale j'y ai passé les 2 meilleures années de ma vie malgré le Covid.

No matter how close France and England look on the map, never expect the French to speak English.
One should be fluent in French even to communicate with the staff at a place like Charles De Gaulle airport, Paris!

None as Such, Nancy is a quiet, peaceful city with all the modern facilities and good connectivity by air, rail and road.
People are friendly. Make sure to learn french before you come here.

La vie étudiante dans l'école est plutot développée. Avec une association d'élève toujours prête à organiser un evenement. Cependant, l'école reste peu ouverte vers les autres : peu d'événements organisés en partenariat avec une autre école.
