It offers the most space and privacy. Rent in Izmir is also very cheap so it is easy to rent a flat

Personal comments
The university has a guesthouse in which we (the exchange students) were living at first. It is very clean and comfortable, but many of us wanted to live with Turkish students for the cultural experience so we arranged our own housing.

If i were to go back, i would choose an apartment because i need my own space, but during Erasmus period, housing was pretty good.
