Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because it is an excellent way to get to know other international students. The advantage of an apartment however, is that you feel more 'local' and get to know more locals.

Personal comments
As I couldn't find an apartment myself I asked help from my university. I didn't have the feeling my tutor was tryig his best to find me one, but in the end together we found a place to live.

“Too many cons”
Student
Finland, Undergraduate

Overall
I studied in EBS Helsinki and I have to admit, I was disappointed.
In my opinion the price is too high for the quality of teaching. Some professors speak unclear English and sometimes it was difficult to understand them. Also, without notifications (at least I personally did not see/receive any) they lift the tuition fees. So you attend the school and think the price would be X for your education but no, they lift up prices and suddenly your education is more expensive than you have prepared for.
If you are struggling with a course and you receive a final grade F but you are two points away of receiving a passing grade E and you ask your professor if there is something I could do to earn those two points (like extra work) so I would not have to take the course again and pay another 500-1000 euros the answers I received was no. Of course depending of the professor. I have to remind and admit I was often struggling in school and courses were not easy for me to pass.
But still this makes you think that they just want you to pay for the course again.
I'm sure they want best for the students but for some people there is limited amount of money in the wallet.
These are the few things that I found disturbing and not well managed in that school. Not worth the money in my opinion.
Not everything in EBS is negative. There are good things as well. Just a heads up for the ones thinking EBS as an education option for their bachelor's or Master's degree.
