Academic
Course recommendations
Choose easy courses, especially if you are struggling with the German language, but nonetheless choose courses in that language. That's because the academic standards there are quite high, i.e. there are rarely easy courses. Big exception: Entrepreneurship, which I took. Good teaching, not too much work & the professors love to give good grades :)

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
There is good housing available, but I would strongly advise anyone to pay a visit to the university town to search for good accommodation a few months in advance, otherwise you will be left with very few, and often unattractive, choices. The housing market in the University town (where approx 90% of the students live) is quite limited!

Personal comments
I had to find housing on my own, due to the fact that my native tongue is German. For other foreign students who do not speak the language, the University provides assistance in finding accommodation.

Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
An apartment gives you the freedom to stay in at work without worrying about disturbing anyone, in addition you have time to study or work at home when required so.

Personal comments
There was no University housing at the European Business School, students only stayed in flats. The flats themselves were very comfortable with good facilities.
