Take several scarfs, gloves,... for the cold. For nightlife, if you like electronic music and rock/metal, it's excellent. If you live near the "Burg", you don't need a laptop, just use computers there. If you intend to stay just one semster, it is useless to buy one, every student goes nearly every day on the web.

It is better to travel in groups as you can group discounts, and when going to other countries it is sometimes to fly but to book a flight early to get the best discount. When one goes on exchange, they should take every opportunity to learn the local language, it is one of the best investments one can make.

A small private university in Oestrich offers a focused courseload with many resources offered. A knowledgeable teaching staff with experience and professionalism to properly prepare students for the real world after their studies.

Can be too small, has a privilaged-feel that dismisses some people

They are not very organized (administration). But the professors and material covered in the classes were very good
