Get your apartment near it, its a good area and you will save in transport. Students will love to get to know you because they are foreigners too.

London is one of the cheapest destinations for flights. Anyway, you should check on different flight companies before buying your ticket and there are some useful websites with offers: www.travelocity.co.uk, www.travelselect.com
I was pretty excited and scared at the same time to leave for something new, unknown, but it is just so great to learn so much about life because you are in a new environment , out of your confort zone. If I had known before that it would have been so rich in experience, i would have left earlier.

To always go at courses, because you are a little bit lost if you loose only one course, in fact you have not many book so you have to listen the teachers

The experience is usefull for communicate with other people with other contry and not only host people. When you do an erasmus or something familiar, you know a lot of people and even if in you contry you live alone, the ambientation is completely different.

Not necessarily an academic thinkl tank, more pratically oriented, but not high-tech and up-to-date in methods applied during the course, especially regarding quantitative methods.

London is awfully expensive. Certainly there are a range of excellent unis in London, but have a look at some others in the UK which are just as goods, but less expensive (e.g. Essex for economics, Lancaster and Manchester for business studies/management, Reading for finance).
Yes, the unseriousness about the school. Lack of organisation and that the teachers do not demand anything from the students

I met the nicest people there. Also exchange student and that saved my entire stay... I accepted the unseriousness of the school. It seems a bit unorganised at first but it pretty much ok. The best time of my life all in all.
