I wish I had known...
I was active myself and visited the University two times before applying. Allthough the information I got did not always match the reality.

You have to speak fluent German if you want to really learn something. German system is a bit conservative and boring. It is up to you if you make some friend there or not!

Personal spending habits
Accomodation I feel is a normal price to this part of the world. This is equivalent to what we pay in our home country. I paid a lot for the telephobe bills because I really missed my family and hence wanted to keep in touch with them regularly. Hence spent a lot of money on phones and the internet. I did not spend so much money on the night life becuase I did not like the nightlife even in my home country. But when some friends forced i did go out with them. Travel expenses was quite reasonable

Personal comments
I have had no cost saving tips for my stay period. But what I would say is try to spend as little as possible on phones, traveling and never never mind or calculate on the food. Spend casually on food, as without food it is very difficult to enjoy a good health

Academic
Course recommendations
this course should plan for the right composition of international and local european students. By doing so the students can be grouped properly into an interenational group and not into the group they feel like. By having a proper composition of the group, it will give an international exposure to all the students. After all this is all for what the international course is there for.

Personal comments
As i have already mentioned more concentration has to be put into the group composition. A little bit more of the technical subjects may be introduced, rather than having so much management modules. Though they are interesting, I feel they are a little too much for this degree(as the name suggests what should be in this course, which is a little disappointing)
