The accomodation was arranged by the university. I am happy of that, but the room given to us has no facilities like internet connection, Satellite connection, small rooms, bad infrastructure.......

Was quite difficult to adapt to an everyday speaking environnement, but after 3 weeks,that was not so difficult; Its fast to learn a foreign language when you are in a foreign country.

To have an television is very important to learn the language of the host country.
If you don't like to live all by your self, it is the best way to live in Hamburg. It is quite easy to find a room with ohter people. Of course you have to be flexibe.
