“What you make of it”
McKeon L
Germany, Undergraduate
, 2021
Overall
As is with most universities Reutlingen is what you make of it. I'm only taking two classes here but both professors are very nice and good at teaching. The campus it self is a bit lackluster but it gets the job done. There are a lot of international students so finding friends in similar situations like I am is easy.

I wish I had known...
That nightlife in Reutlingen sucks.
That germans are nice, and reliable people, but a little bit close to foreigners in this southwest part of germany.

Travel tips, buy a Bahncard 50, gives you a lot of flexibility.
Use your bike for everything, you dont need more., you excercise, have fun, and is cheap. Buy a good new bike, you use it everyday!!
Wear good gear for the extreme weather since you will be riding your bike. At least breathable warm gear and gloves.
During summer travel by bike to several cities or towns such as konstanz.
Join an association or group.
Explore the city and eat good ice cream in town.
Have fun, be yourself, think about the advantages of where you are, and exploit them. Dont think of the disadvantages. You will find plenty, WHERE EVER YOU ARE.

Check all your possible travel options as thoroughly as possible. You'll save a lot of money with lodging if you just take the extra time to check different places out.
