It is helpful to have a train discount card (40%), which quickly pays off. Also there is a Weeze airport not far away, so it is comfortable to travle somewhere further!

Keep going this way and adapting to change - this is what inspired me the most - i told some comments to my coordinator how to improve "buddy and mentor" system for students, and they did! they took all my recommendations and adapted to it.

Visit Maastricht, Brussels, Amsterdam, Dusserdorf! everything is right around, almost the center of europe..
And on saturdays - go to the market in the center of venlo!
Go running near Maas river in the morning - nice way to meet locals

My life at Fontys has been quite fun and different. What I personally like the most is, that the teachers take their personal time for you and genuinely care that you understand the material and you pass the exam very well. I like the international campus with people around the globe, so that we get to know different cultures and experiences. That gives us the opportunity to grow mentally and already build business connection at a young age around the world.
