It is my home country, but it is still my first time to visit Shanghai and Fudan University. My real purpose is to learn the Chinese market and get some valueable working experience in there.

Fudan University is the top university in China, even the best one in Shanghai. The MBA courses in there are teached in Enghish with the good quality. The university as a small society also has a plenty of student associations and activities such as sports, dancing, social clubs. The campus and social life in there are interesting.

Besides the study life, the traveling in China must be a fantastic plan as you dream for. The international office in university is really helpful place where you can get any traveling information. China is a big country with a long history, she is waiting for you and hopes you are enjoying you life in there.

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: En el campus
Organizado por: Independientemente - no había otra opción
Si volviera, eligiría: Piso o apartamento
¿Por qué?
I lived on campus first semester which was very convenient and handy at first but there quite a few annoyances that made me choose to live off campus during the second semester.

Good but overpriced. Much better accomodation can be found off-campus and alot cheaper.
Very handy living in the dormitory at first as everything was organised there(i.e. physical examination, visa procedures, registration etc) which was amazing at first. However, there is no living area or general area where students could hang out. Only two kitchens per floor (each floor has 34 rooms) and two refrigerators(though mini fridges could be rented). Rooms have own bathroom and are well maintained. Though very convenient, I would recommend living off campus. Warning to those who want to live on campus - go for room numbers that are even in the end (i.e. 1828) as these rooms face the south side and have a much better view, are alot quieter and warmer in the winter than northside rooms (i.e. 1829)
Tonghe Apartments, KIC Village (brand new!) and Rainbow city seem very popular choices. Living in an apartment is generally alot cheaper than living on campus.

Make sure you are willing to experience a totally different culture. you might need to encounter culture shock but if you hold on, you will start to appreciate it.

A great university, 3 best in China. The experience "living in China" alone is incredible. The teachers are helpful, and are interesting. But I do recommend to live outside dorm, but if you are traveling alone than you should stay at the drom.

When you are in China - TRAVEL! To visit other places than Shanghai is a great experience, shanghai is not China (much more western).

The joint MBA courses provided by both Fudan University and University of HongKong is a nice program with good quality. The content of courses contain both theory and real cases study.

Shanghai is an international city, but most of courses in university are in Chinese, it is quite hard for foreign exchange students to choose the suitable courses.

We got offered a UC grand during our second semester from Fudan which was nice.
Basic money saving principles apply as in the western world.. even though it may seem cheaper to dine out here, it is cheaper to cook yourself.
