I wish I had known...
That it really makes sense to take a language course because the language is easy to learn. And locals are willing to talk to you and are impressed by only simple phrases you can say.

“Packed with opportunities to excell”

Indonesia, Undergraduate
Engineering, Mechanical, 2018
Overall
The mechanical engineering study program in Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia offers a variety of opportunities to excel both in hard- and soft-skills. Academic-wise, the lecturers are very helpful and only seek the best for their students. However, competition among fellow students are also prominent, hence one has to present themselves the best they can.

I really loved my stay here, but it is possible that some other people are disappointed. The culture is different from western countries, which might be difficult for some people.
I am sure you will love it to if you find a nice house and make friends with people with the same mindset (usually other international students).

SWin Burne needs to support the International community to have some kind of work experience atleast for 12 weeks, else whats the use of a student spending $ 20000 to 30000 for just a degree with no work internship to support him to look for a job!!!!!!! Cmon you need to give better than this foer the fees the international student pays.
