Girne American University

Girne American University or G.A.U as commonly referred by locals, is the oldest and one of the most renowned universities in Cyprus. It caters for international students like myself in an exceptional manner. Being an Engineering student I can only speak for my department and our lecturers but I am 100% certain the standards that are set in my field of study are also on par with other departments. 

The staff of this institution are extremely professional and strive for the success of all the students. The lecturers are not only focused supplying academic information and donnish knowledge but life-lessons, guidance and counselling for students is also rendered when needed. They are extremely patient with students and see to it that we understand the concepts we are being taught with also giving of us an insight on what life after university is like.

The campus is full of electrifying energy and students with positivity, all around. We have festivals, sporting competitions, pageants and so many other extracurricular activities that are held at the end of each semester. On campus restaurants, swimming pool, gym, art gallery hall are made available for all students.

some of the courses include contract law, constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, land law, employment law, commercial law, etc. the school is great all lecturers are communicated in English. European law standard. the campus is amazing and the a friendly environment.

It was a good experience in tackling different challenges everyday , but univeristy is average with studies and like they say more money much better quality. so for students who wants to spend average amount of money for there undergraduate studies including the living expenses also this is a good option, and for a peaceful life also because the location is really nice and the city is very welcoming.In the end all the study work is all your own hard work many variety of teaching staff is working there so one has to be really independent to study here.

Le système de cette université est un bon système car il pousse l’étudiant à bosser dur pour valider les matières, il n’y a pas de système LMD si tu échoues une matière il n’y a pas de rattrapage il faut carrément reprendre le semestre
