This university is very central. The courses are very flexible and the workload is feasible as it assumes that most students work part time. Most tutors are excellent, approachable and casual. The courses offered are closer to the demand on the work market and therefore more realistic.

Stay clear from Sighthill, Govan and any other place where people are likely to follow you with baseball bats at night. For accomodation, look for shopwindows in Byres Road (West End) and stay with other students as otherwise you have to pay council tax (no need for that extra expense). Nighlife is brilliant and Glasgow is quite a compact city you can easily walk from club/pub to the other.

“Master's in Climate Justice.”
Gustavo C
Reino Unido, Posgrado
Ciencias Ambientales, 2019
Valoración global
The course itself was programmed for those interested in learning in depth the entire realm of environmental disasters, and all possibilities that could happen if governmental policies would be implemented fairly. Overall, this course was extremely important for my personal and professional growth.
I've had the chance to learn and study about circular economy, sustainability development goals, EU and the UK policies, human rights, and many others.

It is a very new university with a huge library, place with computers,...The atmosphere is great! You can just relax, drink a cup of fine hot chocolat in the coffee bar of the library and study at the same time. The sport infrastructure is huge. You can follow classes for almost every sport you have in mind. Beside this, the location of the university is very good, right in the middle of the center of Glasgow, close the the main shopping streets, UGC, pubs and bars, restaurants,...

Do not hesitate to go to Glasgow! It is a unique experience of which you will look back with regret to be in Belgium again. The method of learning is totally different and asks much more of yourself. You have to write at least one essay for each course and do at least one presentation for each course. But you learn so much more about it!
Beside this, Glasgow is not very nice at daylight, but once it becomes evening, you see pubs, bars, clubs coming to life! I heard that it was the next biggest 'going out'city in the UK (after London).
Have fun in Glasgow!!

Studying media means a constantly evolving course, and staff are enthusiastic and eager about keeping up with the changing landscape of media in the 21st century. There are a wide variety of modules, so you gain a broad knowledge of many parts of the media, which can be beneficial in future.

Just saying enjoy and dont think about what you should do. Its only one year and you have to enjoy the maximum. Study and work in your degree but at the same time go everyway and try to make as many friends as possible that its much more worthy, and shows you much more about how is life in the different countries, and the only way of learning english. If you think that you can learn english only by readying then dont loose your time going there. If you dont want to make friends from other nationalities then dont go there either, stay in your own country because then you would be loosing the most funny and interesting thing!Life its not only studying!
