Final comments

It is worth to learn local language, despite the local residents' ability to speak English. Traveling is rather expensive so better to save as much money as possible before going as it might be difficult to find a job in host university town.

Final comments

Being from North America the opportunity to travel within Europe at reasonable rates was very rewarding. Cheap flights out of Stockholm make travel easy and cost effective on discount airlines.

In my opinion everything was well-organized. Unfortunately after my Erasmus experience I had no other news or contact with my host University. University should be a good link also after studies when students search for a job.

It is very expensive, esp. for South asain like me, so take care before leaving from home country, rest of the things are ok.

I recommend have some money saved, choose to live in a student building instead of in an apartment, you will have more contact with people from everywhere. Bring warm clothes in winter, but don't expect to freeze, you can stand the weather :)
