I studied in a french school when I was a child. I had no problems with "academic" French. I improved my slang thanks to social life with local students.

Well I chose International Management where some courses are in french and other in english, the same for class materials, so it was a nice experience!

Local language and language of instruction are the same. French language is pretty easy to read, but sometimes hard to understand, speccially slang!

french is easy to understand but hard to speak, and the french don't use to help too much in that way
