There are many facilities the university provides as well as many facilities on campus. Careers advice, sports centre, student's union, and many others. It is very close to the city centre but in a quite area surrounded by amazing forrests and parks, even a loch. Living on campus is very quiet and it is the best surrounding for studying. It is the best university I have ever heard about and university life is simply incredible.

Fortunately, Heriot-Watt University provides you with everything you need. However, if I could leave you with one thought is that you are the main responsible for your integration in a new country.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because it was a great experience to live on campus but if I'm about to go back I'd like to try new experiences.

Personal comments
Residential facilities on campus are well equiped and they are located so close to university facilities. Good rooms woth private bathroom, shared kitchen and laundry premises. Nice ambient. The only dissapointing issue could be frequent fire alarms during the night, and that it's really hard to get a room here.
