courses were in english so no problems at all. university staff and profesorssors also have spoken english, ao no problems in the academic communication. outside the university people use french and dutch, the later i cant speak and actually didnt need that at all. i could speak french, so it was quite easy to communicate in daily situatios. actually, a lot of belgians speek english, so i didnt have problems related with language at all.

Nothing much actually, it's just issues with cultural differences in term of who pay for what. Men takes care of all stuffs in my country should there be a date or outing. This seems a bit different here but nothing too serious. Cost-saving tips: Try home cooking twice a week, visit fruit markets for large shopping.

The university is well organized. Following the courses is not compulsory, so you can easily get off one day. The teachers are mostly professionals, which gives you the security that what you here is relevant. However, a minus point is that the courses are in English but the teachers are not native speakers!!

to take some native English speaking professors, more social life, more activities, more credits for each subject! it's hard to have 10 exams!!
