Because most exams are at the end of the semester you have a whole semester time for travelling and living. EHSAL is great, especially the international office (Dirk Van Waelderen)

If you want to travel during your international student experience Brussels is great, because there are cheap flights to great destinations and with the THALYS you can reach Paris within 1,5 hours. There is a public transport card available for students (costs only 25€ for the whole year). Just ask the international office!

the school offered help in finding accomodation, and gave a few addresses, but it was a bit difficult to contact with those people, that's why I was searching on my own; I have a friend in brussels who gave me some links to good websites and but for his help it would be difficult for me to find anything

The housing in its broad evaluation was good, cause the same landlord owned several buildings in a district and then everything worked like a campus, and the social life has been perfect for an erasmus experience. Unfortunately those buildings were very bad kept.

I would recommend evryone to go abroad, although I didn't go to a far country I enjoyed mi stay very much. This is your oppurtunity to learn people from different countries and to learn how to handle with new situations. so I would say GO.

Interaction with international students
Interaction with local students
Personal comments
The library needs to be always open not closed after 5 in the afternon or in the weekends and the school needs to be open at least some days during the 20 days Christmas holiday so that we can facilitate the resources and the students might feel closer to their university environment. Much more homeworks needed to provide adaptation of the courses.

Personal comments
There are lots of abonnament deals available for Buses, trains etc. There are also international calling cards which can be used on private lines and in non-belgacom phones(usually blue). They can cut the cost of calls to home up to three times.
