Fraggle and Poppye cafes are quite poppular among HZ students. The most special thing, in my opinion, is the international dinner each Wednesday which is prepared by the international students of school- each week one country's speciality.

Due to the good location several bigger cities are easily reached. We visit many events in Brussels, Rotterdam or Amsterdam. In Vlissingen, the de Konkurrent is the place to be on Mondays and the Popeye's on thursdays.

Vlissingen it is a small city, every year around 40,000 students arrive at the city, there are no many places to go out but after a month yo will meet everybody. Going out close and big cities is a common solution

They prepared everything so the firt day you have your room ready for you and while I was therem if you have a problem they tried to solve as soon as possible.

Recomendación personal
Teachers are quite nice in general. Subjetcs aren't too hard. The only Con I can add is that the town is quite small and a bit far from the main cities and airports, so travelling could be hard.
To sum up, I recommend this university.

Travelling by train is quite expensive in Holland, but you can request a special card that will discount 25% in the tickets, valid for you and 3 more people travelling with you.
