Fraggle and Poppye cafes are quite poppular among HZ students. The most special thing, in my opinion, is the international dinner each Wednesday which is prepared by the international students of school- each week one country's speciality.

Due to the good location several bigger cities are easily reached. We visit many events in Brussels, Rotterdam or Amsterdam. In Vlissingen, the de Konkurrent is the place to be on Mondays and the Popeye's on thursdays.

Vlissingen it is a small city, every year around 40,000 students arrive at the city, there are no many places to go out but after a month yo will meet everybody. Going out close and big cities is a common solution

Cafe de Concurent-Old style cafe-bar, and pretty good disko after 2AM, mostely invaded by international students.
Cafe Fraggels-Beer for 1Euro
Cafe Popey-For people who like to stai in touch...
Disko Cinema in Middelburg-well known with its'25+ Partyes...
Opening of sea seazon- people from whole Europe, are coming here...
