Few quality hours
jacques
Netherlands, Graduate
, 2021
Overall
The school building and facilities are fine.
I am now in my second master year (of 3) and I have a feeling that the chaos of the HAN is growing. Teachers change the schedule 1 day before the lesson, changes in lessons day or hours to please guest-teachers. Sometimes we get a notification a night before that we still have no classroom.

Some lessons seem a waste of time. Just to have a "lesson".
In my second year now going strong, I had actually 5 lessons in my field of study. The rest were: take an interview of that and this, write an essay about innovations in this and that.
When you ask about the purpose they say: when you are done it will be clear. I asked 3th years.. they still do not know what they are doing.  Nothing relevant for your later work. It is frustrating.

Pros
clean school, a lot of information,
Cons
everything is on computers, everything, too much collateral work which is not relevant for the field of study

Exciting and mind opening

Netherlands, Undergraduate
Engineering, 2023
Overall
Some of the courses are interesting and related to the study itself. The possibility to deviate from only engineering courses is possible which gives a chance to change paths while still graduating on the same course.
Lack of english skills within some of the teachers, explanations or work ethics within the staff. This does not apply for all the staff.
