Personal comments
I have learned very much Spanish by studying at ICADE, which also was one of my main goals when going abroad. people were very friendly overall and always wanted to help and understand even though it was not the easiest inthe beginning....I am very pleased with my stay at ICADE and in madrid and I felt that my language has improved a lot.

You will have to get to know other students independantly, the school does not help in any way to introduce you to other students than in your class.

Academic
Course recommendations
I feel that the way of teaching is very different from at Cbs, that I am used to.I am used to a more dynamic "discussion" between teacher and students, more individual thinking and thought to think a bit critical. At ICADE, I felt that the teacher thought, and the students took notes and then the exam was mor eor less on the notes. This felt very "old-school" for me, since I am used to question things and reflect more over the things I learn.Furthermore, I had courses with students on the 5th year at ICADE even though I was only on the 3rd year at Cbs.

Personal comments
I would have another system, where exams and projects etc are more dynamic and throughout the whole course in order to activate the students the whole semester. i often felt that the local students did not do much at all until the last month, when they just had too much to do to perform well in all the subjects. thereby, many students chose to fail some exams and have them as retakes the next semester. I would prefer having exams etc continously, inthe way that you learn things for real and not just for that moment in january where you have studied in panic.

I started speaking english to most people I met in the beginning (as they were mostly foreign students). But I quickly started dreaming in spanish and the day-to-day made the rest. I'm sure now that if you only know the basic phrases and grammar while arriving in the country you can be at ease in 2 or 3 months in most situations.

Overall
I am currently studying a Dual Degree in Business administration and international commerce, this degree has a duration of 4 years, the first 2 years are in Reims (France) in NEOMA BUSINESS SCHOOL and the last 2 years will be in Madrid (Spain) in ICADE.
I decided to start my course in France so I´m actually living in Reims. The campus of NEOMA is very big and I had the opportunity to meet amazing people from a lot of countries.
Im enjoying my stay here and I really like to live here.
