wizzair is cheap if you book in advance but you can take only 20kg + &0kg handluggage.

I really liked the university. Staff in the Faculty of Social Sciences is not that competent but with all others I had no problems. They were all very friendly and helpfull. At the moment I see myself as a Corvinus student and not as a student from my university in Vienny.

Final comments

Try to travel a lot! It is cheap and there are so many wonderful places in Hungary. What I really liked is that teachers don't want high drop-out rates. If you prepare for the exams you'll also pass them. That was a nice experience for me.

Where I would stay. I didn't know where I would stay. I had a meeting with a agency, who would help me finding a place to stay, but I didn't know more than that.

University has a large group of international students all taking part of the ISC program. The courses are highly interactive and the social life is the best.

Final comments

Budapest is a central point going to other countries like, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, and other countries. It is not expensive and there are trains to almost all destinations. If you go to Budapest without having a place to stay, you should contact Blue line, they will help you finding a place to stay. You pay sometimes a bit more,but the places are great. Budapest is a great city and I would advice everybody to go there and get some experience in a other country.

Traveling and nightlife are significantly cheaper, traveling especially as you pay almost nothing for public transports if you are a Hungarian student. Also most of the food is cheaper, especially meat and part of vegitable

Use you cash-dispenser card, not your credit card. And don´t open a bank account in Hungary. Money from cash dispenser is cheaper even if you have to pay a certain percentage additionally on the amount you need

Course recommendations

The courses were interactif, the groups were small and therefore the interaction was good. The only thing is that some teachers should improve their English to be more secure about what they are doing.

They are doing already good work in hiring international teachers and inviting international speakers. The only thing is that they should not treat the international students in such a special way as they sometimes do.
