I wish I had known...
That the ISC is geared toward exchange students, which diminishes the academic quality, while improving the party scene. Better prepared for the Hungarian mentality.

(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Personally, I have mixed feelings about the ISC even though I spent two years there getting a Master's degree. My two years there really made me get in touch with who I am and where I belong, which was absolutely invaluable. For most people I would recommend spending a year there at the most, but for me two years was needed to fully get the picture. Overall, my two years there helped round out my undergrad education and better prepared me for more grad school back in the States.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Most people I know had a great time there and the nightlife can be fun for a semester or two before it gets really old. I made some great friends (very few new Hungarian friends though) and had the best and worst times of my life there. Hungary and Hungarians were a big disappointment, but I met some cool people from all over the world.

“Logistics Studies on Corvinus Un (HUN)”

Overall
Graduate on Corvinus is one of the best recommendation to every company in HUN - because it is one of the best logistical knowledge what you can get in Hungary.
Unfortunatelly it is not very practical - I miss all daily operative knolwedges from the education, but during the seminars, I received all basics, corellations, which I could build on the business life to learn the operating processes and fullfill business expectations.
Summariesed, it give a lot of general knowledge but not to many special operative ones.

Yes, that it is almost impossible to get information about how to get a visa and a working permission for an internship in HUngary. That you don´t have to pay for a visa because students donßt have to pay if they do a semester abroad with support of the ÖAD

DON´T - UNDRE NO CIRCUMSTANCES - ATTEND A TRIP ORGANIZED BY THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS UNION FROM THE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY (JUST OPPOSITE TO THE KÖZGAZ!) THEY ASK FOR TOO MUCH MONEY, THEY CHANGE THE DESTINATIONS OF TRIPS WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND THEY DON´T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS WITH YOU IN CASES OF INJURIES AND DESEASES!

It depens on what you are used to back home. As an exchange student it is not a very difficult university,we are there to get new experiance , not to see the inside of the reading room. I will recomand everybody to not read to much.

Travel:-Eger, litle village outside Budapest(3 hours). In the wine season you can walk from wine celler to wine celler,tasting wine and talk o people.
Bratislava(Maincapital of slovakia, 3 hours from BP).Balaton, extremly nice lake, peacefull and beautifull.
Go to a travel agency in BP, they have a lot of tips.

Bring your own meds from home (over the counter stuff and prescriptions) as a lot of stuff we can buy in pharmacies over the counter you need a prescription over here. Like tylenol, feminine products, stuff like that.

Overall it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend everyone to go on exchange (no matter where u go u'll have fun). Especially for North Americans, this is a once in a lifetime experience because there are so many different countries w/in hours of eachother giving you the opportunity to travel cheaply and quickly.
