I found living on my own a fulfilling experience and quite comfortable, much more so than living in a host family or on campus, especially while pursuing research at the graduate level.Besides, my current school does not have a campus.

The rent is much higher in Nice than both in Montreal and Romania, and so is the cost of living.As far as the nightlife is concerned, there is not that much to do in Nice, thus we mostly had house parties which are quite cheap.Travel was all covered by the Institute, as it is part of the curriculum: a trip to Italy, two months in Germany, a study trip to Bruxelles, Geneve and Strasbourg and 2 weeks in Rome were all included in our program and covered.

I had prepared quite well before leaving, doing lots of research so I was actually well-prepared about most everything.

It is quite good from the course load and knowledge informationa point of view and a great opporunity for getting to learn languages better, getting a global view of European affairs.

Everything is really expense! try to save money before coming!

It's intercultural, interdisciplinary and international: really interesting!
