Course recommendations
If you know spanish try to take regular classes. The International Courses are very basic and you will not have much interaction with local students.
Be prepared to be very busy with your courses because you will have to turn in many assignments every week.

Im currently studying Biotechnology in Tec de Monterrey. The courses for this bachelor are challenging and thanks to that, they help you develop as a future engineer. All my profesiors are more than qualified for the job and something interesting is that many of them have other jobs outside teaching university courses so they have endless experience of the "outside world"-

Some courses I feel like are not that useful but we need to take them to graduate.

Housing in general is weel organized in TEC. I heard comments from negative to positive from friends who lived in host families. Campus accomodations can vary too, depending on whether you're lucky enough to get a room from the most modern building.

It was hard in the very beginning.I did not have good Spanish foundation, and moreover, it was really a difficult language for me. I lost some chances to practise more for there are a lot students were talking with me in English. However, I can understand, read and write with this language now with ease.
