There are great places and local cultural events in Bremen. Do not miss them!!! Jazz concerts, theater plays, art exhibitions, you name it !

Bremen has lots of cafes and places to go. There are some very nice house-clubs like "Rosige Zeiten" and Mexican places one could visit. Time is the matter to be considered though. www.bremen.de has decent info (in German) on night-life.
"Schlachte" is the place to go, and you won't miss it when you're around in Bremen.

well, we have pretty cool parties within university itself, but if you want to chill outside - no problem! Bremen is nt a big city, so it is not such a big deal to find out the best pubs or clubs for you within first few weeks.

Students center H3. Best parties ever. I've been here just a month, so I wouldn't be able to comment too much on life outside the campus. But, Bremen does have quite an active nightlife.
