Pub Miscellania is a great hangout for Americans who want to experience a pub. The bartender Micky is genuine. Also Club Insane is a great after hours hangout. By school there are some great pizza places such as Pizza Trilusa. And much, much more.

I feel the only way that I learned as myuch Italian as I did is because I chose to interact with locals. By the time I left I was at ease in most situations as compared to only basic knowledge when I arrived.
