almost everybody spoke English there, even the shopping assistents in most shops, so there was no need to learn the Finnish language but however quite interesting!

At the beginning i had some communication problem but after 1 month i was able to speak to the finnish people and to the erasmus students as well.

Finnish students and the teaching body speak English quite well- even the library staff! Outside campus it's sometimes helpful to be able to express your desire in Finnish!

Even after 10 months I still did not speak Finnish and so it is not always easy to interact with Finns, hopefully Finns speak pretty well English
