Le corps professoral
Maeva M
France, Graduate
Management Science, 2022
Overall

Personal comments
Given that I am neither English nor French, I was speaking and studing in a "foreign" language al the time. I am more at ease with English, but my French is still on a bilingual level. In France I had to tune in to a "french thinking" mode, which lasted for the first 2 or 3 weeks. I did not have a language barrier and at times, people in my placement would actually ask me if I was from Quebeque of some funny french speaking place, because of my accent, not too strong, but it's there... The school has the habit of dealing with students whos french is not the first language so there was no problem there. The spirit of comunity in EBP would fill in the gaps of vocabulary here and there, ie, if I don't know what a word means, the person next to me will. Bilingual diccionaries were allowed in Exams. Overall, not a problem, rather a challenge.

try to go there to find a place to live, don't try to find something on the internet because you don't know in which area you will be living in if you don't know the city

Academic
Course recommendations
There is a very strong feeling in France that students from an"School of Commerce" (ESC) come out better prepared than students from state universities... Some companies (French) actually prefer these students... I definately recommend EBP, the possibilities are increased in an international career prospect, also it is great to interact with so many international students (EBP includes 5 universities respectively in UK, FR, D, NL, SP, still, there are about 25 different nationalities involved. If you are french and you can afford it, take a school of commerce.

Personal comments
No, just go with the flow, there is always something happening and the system is competent enough. the school is financialy well equiped so there is a feeling of material support around you, some teachers are actually working on side ventures, companies, R&D, politics...
