One teacher spoke an Austrian dialect all the time, which was very hard to understand. Most of the teachers made an effort.

My spoken german has improved and when i had little problems the people there helped me plus they speak fluent English

well, as I've already said, I didn't have many occasions to speak the local language, as many erasmus spoke just English and as Austrians weren't very easy-going with us... something which helped me a lot was TV, movies and attending lessons.
