Reality is, you DO have to study quite a bit if you care about your marks, however, this dose not mean one cannot experience lal that london nite life has to offer. Local students will always be a help. If you like a pint every so often (and in london it is quite often) the LSE bar is fantastic as is the bar in high holborn apartments. As far as nite clubs are concerned, pick up a Timeout London. It is the Londerners BIBLE to going out at nite. Also, do you best to see all that the city has to offer. The guide 'London A to Z' should be a big help

Kahn's, great curry place and well priced. A.K.A. swish bar but user friendly. Mezzo, really swish bar with live bands. Concession tickets at Royal National Theatre. Greenwich Market or Spittalfields are more manageable than Portobello and just as fun. Blackfriar's Pub, albeit a suits place, is loaded with atmosphere as well as The Bank of England pub. YO! Sushi's conveyor belt action is a great novelty. Cabinet War Rooms and Westminster were worth it. Cheap and tasty high tea- the crypt under St. Paul's. Posh high tea- Harrod's.

The english style is very different than the american way of assesing, you have to write like mad on the exams to get a good grade, that lowers quality and encourage to memoraize like crazy.

Graduate housing at LSE is organised in apartments of six or four rooms with an independent kitchen and bathrooms. It's great because it allows you privacy and access to kitchen facilities at your convenience.
