what kind of university is the LUISS. Very private.

It's the most famous university of Italy and people, professors and students know it very well, too well. The annual cost of the university is too hight: you will only meet the very high italian society.

Nothing really apart from the fact that everybody is SURELY gonna have a fantastic (!) time in Rome. Divertitevi!

Don`t start studying too late and make sure you always attend the (obligatory) lectures. Make sure, you have a good level of Italian before going.

Had already made course enquiries , therefore most likely would have benefited from more social and travel information.

Luiss university has an international atmosphere. It is highly reputed in Italy & offers a wide range of information & access points to leading international companies. The student committee works permanently to provide ongoing social activities. The university grounds are also very attractive!

I wish I had already informed myself on the cost of apartments and on their scarcity, especially in the center.

The administration and students do a lot to make foreign students feel at home. However some students made the mistake of frequenting only other exchange students. I think that besides integrating into the university exchange student life it is equally important, and maybe more enriching, to make an effort to integrate into normal Italian life. So become friends with Italians in and out of the university; this is the best way to get to know the richness and diversity of the Italian cultures.
